The Chartered Institute of Marketing, Ghana (CIMG), as part of its mandate, seeks to influence Government policies and regulations on marketing and businesses. In 2020, many businesses were affected by the COVID-19 global crisis, and this led government to come up with measures to curb the spread of the disease and to mitigate the negative impact of the pandemic on businesses and citizens.

Against this backdrop, CIMG commissioned a study to evaluate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on businesses and individuals. The study was then conducted post-lockdown, and this report presents research findings from the corporate entities and individuals surveyed.
